I’ll admit I was an early Justin Timberlake fan, although initially I carried it like a guilty pleasure.
Because of his Mickey Mouse Club background and NSync fraternity it wasn’t something that a grown
man would admit to everyone openly. But JT has come a long way since then and his talent was
always there. So when he debuted “Suit and Tie” his new single with Jay-Z (this blogger’s favorite
MC) I was eager to hear what’s been cooking during his 5 year hiatus. With an already familiar and
easy rapport with beat-smith Timbaland they were able to craft a very soulful and danceable track
that’s easy on the ears. Then there are the visuals to accompany music. With the sartorial influence
of Tom Ford tuxedos, a classic black and white aesthetic, and all the swag of the Rat Pack incarnate
the video pratically leaps off the screen. But don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself.
